Frank James Lampard, Jr. (born 20 June 1978) is an English football player currently at Chelsea and previously with West Ham United and Swansea City.

Lampard was born in Romford, East London, England. He is the son of Frank Lampard, Sr., the former England full back and two-time FA Cup winner with West Ham United. His family is related to another famous footballing family, the Redknapps. Lampard was educated at Brentwood School, a boys’ independent school in Brentwood, Essex.

A current England national team regular, he has won the English Premiership twice (with Chelsea, 2004–05 and 2005–06), the FA Cup (with Chelsea, 2007) twice the League Cup (with Chelsea, 2005 and 2007), the FA Community Shield (with Chelsea, 2005), and the UEFA Intertoto Cup (with West Ham, 1999).

Frank James Lampard (born 20 June 1978) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Chelsea and the England national team. He also holds the position of vice-captain for his club side. He is considered to be one of the best English footballers of all time.
Lampard began his career at West Ham United, his father Frank Lampard, Sr.'s former club. He had secured a place in the first team by the 1997–98 season, and the following year helped the team finish 5th in the Premier League, their highest-ever Premier League placing. In 2001, he moved to rival London club Chelsea for £11 million.
From his debut onwards he was ever-present in the Chelsea first team, setting a record 164 consecutive Premier League appearances. The name of the game in today's three matches is low scoring. Algeria-Slovenia -- worth watching because it features the USA's next two opponents -- features two teams that like to counter-attack. Slovenia play a very traditional 4-4-2, with a textbook target man and forward; the midfield will look to pump long balls to Milivoje Novakovic who will use his height to set up his partner Zlatko Dedic. Despite qualifying with a three man defense, Algeria looks set to line up in a similar 4-4-2. This has stalemate written all over it.

This is a tough one to call: neither side should be underestimated, as both got here by winning playoff matches most predicted they would lose (Slovenia beat Russia, Algeria overcame Egypt). Expect tense, tentative, low-scoring, counter-attacking soccer. A lot more is at stake here than it might have seemed 24 hours ago as both England and the US look more vulnerable than many expected.

Kaka will forget six years of glory at AC Milan in just 90 minutes when Real Madrid lock horns with the Italians in the Champions League, claims his brother Digao.

The Brazilian ace joined the Blancos from the Rossoneri in the summer, and now confronts them in the European battle of giants at the Bernabeu tonight. Kaka’s brother Digao feels everything will be put to one side once the match begins.

“It will be a game of great emotions. I asked Kaka how he felt playing against the team that made him great, and he said that he will forget everything once he gets on the pitch,” Digao told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“He will do everything to win, but he will respect Milan. He will give his best for the side.”

Diego believes Milan will regret selling him to the Spanish giants. The Lecce defender claims the Rossoneri are feeling the difference without Kaka in the team.

“He is a great player and would be missed by any team. Milan have lost plenty [without Kaka], but I am sure they will find a solution.”

Soccer star David Bekham’s fashion designer and model wife Victoria has been able to convince him to design a men’s collection of suits and evening wear. David is now neck-deep in designing a garments line for autumn-winter 2011 collection.

Victoria Beckham wanted her growing clothing range to go sky-high, so she convinced her star husband to give his helping hand to her in this venture. Reassuring his sense for fashion, Victoria has said that she is very happy with David’s effort so far.

The newspaper reports however are down playing his importance in the team. They seem confident that squared would perform well even without their star attraction on the field.

Beckham suffered the injury during the match between AC Milan and Chievo in San Siro. The player was limping and then he was taken on a stretcher. He was operated Turku, Finland on Monday.

Secara pribadi, saya berpendapat jika tim ini adalah salah satu tim yg mempunyai suasana terbaik selama saya menjadi pemain nasional. Semua pemain benar-benar bermain dan berusaha memberikan yg terbaik kepada pelatih dan tim, itu tercermin dari cara kami bermain di lapangan. Tidak ada sosok bintang di sana yg ada hanyalah kami dalam sebuah tim..

Dibawah ini adalah pendapat pribadi saya mengenai personel-personel yg ada di dalam tim nasional piala AFF 2010. Sekali lagi ini adalah pendapat pribadi saya, jika rekan-rekan mempunyai pendapat yg berbeda dengan apa yg saya kemukakan, ya monggo-monggo saja, wong namanya juga pendapat pribadi tho hehehe..

Dimata saya Alfred bagaikan sebuah kulkas empat pintu, dingin, kokoh, tegas dan solid. Walau terkesan kaku akan tetapi Alfred memunyai hati yg besar dan luas. Dia adalah sebuah pribadi yg sangat fair dalam menilai segala sesuatu, filosofinya dalam bekerja adalah “Keras, tegas namun penuh dengan kasih sayang”. Walaupun dia selalu meletakkan saya di bangku cadangan selama AFF, akan tetapi tidak dapat saya pungkiri, jika dia adalah salah satu pelatih favorit saya..

Wolf adalah penyambung lidah Alfred di dalam tim, keberadaan Wolfgang membuat komunikasi antara Alfred dengan seluruh pemain berjalan sangat lancar. Sesekali dia memang terkesan lebih keras dan lebih tegas daripada Alfred sendiri, sehingga terkadang hal tersebut membuat kami sedikit merasa keki. Akan tetapi itu semua terjadi, lebih karena totalitas Wolfgang dalam bekerja.....
